Hammons Petition Drive Passes 800 Signature Mark
Hammons for Congress has now gathered over 800 petition signatures in
the drive to put Bill Hammons on November's ballot as the Unity Party
candidate for Colorado's Second Congressional District.
"Of course myself and my volunteers will need to accrue far more
signatures than the 800 valid ones required by the State of Colorado,
in light of the fact that many signatures will be declared invalid due to
addresses outside the District and other reasons, and it's very likely
that we'll be gathering signatures as part of the curative process well
past the first deadline of June 17th ," says Hammons. "But, at this
rate, it's fairly certain that I and the Unity Party will be appearing on
November's ballot."
