Hammons for Congress Launches New Ad Campaign

Hammons for Congress launched a new advertising campaign today with an ad in the print edition of Boulder's Daily Camera. More large-size print ads in the Camera will follow, along with Internet ads on the home page and news section home page of dailycamera.com, as well as ads on buses running throughout Boulder County at least through early August.

"The voters of the Second District are now seeing the results of my recent personal contribution to my campaign," says Hammons. "There's more where that came from, and I plan to expand my campaign advertising as the summer progresses, but first we'll see what sort of results we get from this first round."

About Bill Hammons

Bill Hammons graduated from New York University in 1997 with a degree in English and American literature -- not to mention graduated from Permian High School of Friday Night Lights fame in 1993 -- worked in management at Newsweek Magazine for seven years, and moved to Boulder to enjoy the stunning views and the great running trails. He is the sole proprietor of wrhammons.com, whose extensive and popular Guide to Boulder and Beyond covers a territory which bears an uncanny resemblance to Colorado 's 2nd Congressional District. His campaign site is www.bill-for-congress.us.

About the Unity Party of America

The Unity Party of America was founded on Nov. 4, 2004 (the day after the last presidential election) by Hammons and several others. This centrist national political party now covers 23 states -- latest state: Wisconsin -- and has fielded multiple Congressional candidates in the 2008 election season. Its website is www.unityparty.us.
