Unity Party of Colorado Launches Motor Voter Registration Drive
|
The Unity Party of Colorado, the newest political party to be
officially recognized by the State of Colorado, has launched a
Motor Voter Registration Drive from its webpage
http://www.unityparty.us/unity-party-colorado.htm. The Unity
Party is using 64 pages of tailored Web content to target
would-be Colorado drivers before they head to their local
Driver's License Office, and to encourage those visitors to
register with the Unity Party, now that the Unity Party is an
official affiliation option on all state voter registration
forms. This content will be linked to from various websites in
the Unity Party network to maximize the exposure to new voters.
"This is our first concrete step towards registering 1,000
voters in the State of Colorado and thus achieving minor party
status in the state," says Bill Hammons, Unity Party Chairman
and candidate for Colorado's Second Congressional District.
"Not only is the Unity Party now officially recognized as a
Voter Registration Drive organization -- we'll be conducting
our first registration drive at a Boulder supermarket this
Saturday -- we'll be using our superior Web operations to
target all would-be Colorado drivers. My campaign site is
still attracting more traffic than all of my rivals' sites
combined, even after discounting multiple and lengthy visits
by someone searching www.bill-for-congress.us from the
Shafroth for Congress mail server, and the Unity Party site
was within striking distance of the Republican National
Committee site as recently as 2007."
About Bill Hammons
Bill Hammons graduated from New York University in 1997 with a
degree in English and American literature -- not to mention graduated
from Permian High School of Friday Night Lights fame in 1993 -- worked
in management at Newsweek Magazine for seven years, and moved to
Boulder to enjoy the stunning views and the great running trails. He
is the sole proprietor of wrhammons.com, whose extensive and popular
Guide to Boulder and Beyond covers a territory which bears an uncanny
resemblance to Colorado's Second Congressional District. His campaign
site is www.bill-for-congress.us.
About the Unity Party of America
The Unity Party of America was founded on Nov. 4, 2004 (the day
after the last presidential election) by Hammons and several others.
This centrist national political party now covers 23 states -- latest

and has fielded multiple Congressional candidates in
the 2008 election season. Its website is www.unityparty.us.
