Hammons to Launch General Election Campaign at Boulder's Cantina Laredo
|
Bill Hammons, Unity Party candidate for Colorado's Second Congressional
District, will kick off his general election campaign at Cantina Laredo
on the 29th Street Mall in the heart of Boulder. This alternative
primary night event will begin at 7pm sharp on Tuesday August 12th.
"I not only encourage voters of the Second District to join us on the
Democrats' primary night as we see who will be my one serious opponent
in November, but I also strongly encourage the media to attend the
event as well. Republican Scott Starin has yet to participate in a
debate I have participated in, and it's arguably a toss-up between
the three Dems. At this point, I am the only serious Congressional
contender who's for certain to be on the November ballot, and I invite
the media to cover the general election season from the first
moment.
"I announced the event in my appearance on Sunday's 'Your
Show,' and I've plastered Boulder's Pearl Street with event flyers
printed on 100% recycled paper (this environmentally conscious
candidate is working hard to practice what he preaches)."
