Marathon Guide Posted on Hammons Site to Encourage Contributions
|
Boulder, Colo. -- A version of wrhammons.com's Bill's Boston Marathon
Qualifiers Guide is now posted on www.bill-for-congress.us, the
campaign site of Bill Hammons, ultramarathoner, Boston-qualified
marathoner, sole proprietor of wrhammons.com, and Unity Party of
America candidate for Colorado's Second Congressional District (Fact
Sheet: http://bill-for-congress.us/hammons-fact-sheet.htm). The
Congressional version of the Guide, posted to encourage marathoners
to run and raise contributions for Hammons for Congress this fall, can
be found through the "Running for Bill" links on
www.bill-for-congress.us or directly at
http://bill-for-congress.us/running-for-congress.htm.
About Bill Hammons
Bill Hammons graduated from New York University in 1997 with a
degree in English and American literature -- not to mention graduated
from Permian High School of Friday Night Lights fame in 1993 -- worked
in management at Newsweek Magazine for seven years, and moved to
Boulder to enjoy the stunning views and the great running trails. He
is the sole proprietor of wrhammons.com, whose extensive and popular
Guide to Boulder and Beyond covers a territory which bears an uncanny
resemblance to Colorado's Second Congressional District. His campaign
site is www.bill-for-congress.us.
About the Unity Party of America
The Unity Party of America was founded on Nov. 4, 2004 (the day
after the last presidential election) by Hammons and several others.
This centrist national political party now covers 23 states -- latest
state: Wisconsin -- is officially recognized in the State of Colorado,
and has fielded multiple Congressional candidates in
the 2008 election season. Its website is www.unityparty.us.
