Open Letter to Daily Camera and Summit Daily Regarding Mr. Peticolas

Boulder, Colo. -- Bill Hammons, Unity Party of America candidate for Colorado's 2nd Congressional District (Fact Sheet: http://bill-for-congress.us/hammons-fact-sheet.htm) has written an open letter to the staffs of the Daily Camera and Summit Daily regarding Letters to the Editor published by those newspapers and written by a one John Peticolas of Broomfield and Breckenridge.

Hammons writes:

Dear Editors,

I would appreciate it if you would look into the identity of Mr. John Peticolas, who has written letters to both your publications regarding the candidacy of Republican Scott Starin, one of my opponents for this state's Second Congressional District. I find it a remarkable coincidence that Mr. Peticolas shares the same hometown and surname of Kimberly Peticolas, Mr. Starin's Communications Director. Links to the exact letters in question are provided here:

Obviously, I am sure Mr. Peticolas is sincere in his support of Mr. Starin, and there is nothing inherently wrong with a citizen expressing his views, but a disclaimer as to the identity of the letter writer should have been included with the letter's publication. On the remarkably remote chance that Mr. Peticolas is not related to Ms. Peticolas (also of Broomfield), a clarification of that point should have been included nonetheless.

I would appreciate your prompt attention to this matter, and a clarification of the record. My full identity is provided below.

Sincerely,

Bill Hammons
Boulder
Unity Party Candidate for Colorado's 2nd Congressional District
